Best would be if:
- you provide an SVG file (if the icons are generated from vector 
graphics)
- you provide the icons for every size (16x16, 22x22, 32x32, 48x48, 
64x64, 128x128) in PNG format


And don't forget to license them under some free software license that 
is compatible with GPL.
