Sometimes people become over dependent on assumptions...

for example, I had gentoo build kde 3.4.0... For some reason I was
thinking that kdelibs were an important part of this... I guess not.  I
just checked again and kdelibs was not upgraded during that whole
process.

So I am going to upgrade that now...  Curses.
