Downloading works, uploading does not as we don't have ftp uploads=20
enabled. Of course there are only some small test files uploaded to the=20

I'm not sure. The problem I think is that you cannot have two newstuff=20
servers, but I have to verify this.

That will not work. So I suggest (if it's possible to have 2 severs) to=20
keep a kdewebdev.org newstuff server for trusted resources.

Yes, this is what I'm afraid of. But we can also use the KDE server if=20
we can solve the trusting problem which basicly means: don't show=20
uploaded files as available for download before review.
