It's the Format XML Code doing strange things. Who implemented that? I 
have no idea about it.

Uh, that is scary. The problem is somewhere in the code generation from 
the Node tree in:
undoRedo::reloadQuantaEditor or
kafkaInterface->generateCodeFromNode

I'd suggest to disable it if we cannot fix. We can enable later (even in 
3.4.1).
