Bluefish is a pretty fair start on a good piece of software. Not even close to Quanta, but a start. Just got Amaya installed and haven't had time to play with it much so can't really comment. It doesn't look as intuitive as Quanta at a first glance. KompoZer is another fair start but it has some pretty bad habits.
