Porting Quanta, or any other high quality free software for that matter,
to windows is not working for Microsoft or Ballmer. It's working for end
users, whatever OS they use. KDE has some stuff ported to Windows,
http://windows.kde.org/ , and I use it on my other computer. Gimp is
another great program that I use in Windows and recommend to Windows
users that have a need for a high quality image editor.

There are a lot of amateur web page creators out here that make pages
for many reasons. I'm part of two groups that make websites for
genealogical and historical sites. I have close to twenty county/state
websites that I take care of. A great editor is always in demand.
