It doesn't work like that. If it'd work, than you'd have a 4.0 or 3.9, 
whatever available for long time. The Qt and KDE libraries have changed 
since series 3, so you'd need to spend time to adapt the code to the new 
version. And believe me, this is not an easy task, it has lots of 
pitfalls.
