Well, the first question in such cases is if it works from Konqueror or=20
not. Even if you use GNOME, the kde libraries should behave the same=20
way. Please install Konqueror and try to browse your shares and check=20
if you can write to them or not. If not and you see the same (similar)=20
issues, than the problem is not Quanta's, and most probably you can=20
find an answer on a KDE forum/support mailing list. I don't have too=20
much (good) experience with accessing windows (samba) shares, and I=20
always chose the easy way of mounting the needed shares on boot from=20
fstab.=20
