I wonder what it would take to make the 'resources' directory [1] more
like the Firefox extensions site [2] so that developers can more
actively contribute and share Quanta extensions.

For example, I know a lot of people use PHPMyAdmin as a database manager.
A lot of people use Mediawiki as a wiki.
You might like to document and easily reference your SQL schema in
your wiki and Quanta makes this easy. I've made a script called
php2wiki.php [3] that simply reformats the text SQL output of
phpMyAdmin into Mediawiki syntax. With this script saved to
/usr/local/pma2wiki.php, you create a custom action in Quanta
/usr/bin/php -f /usr/local/pma2wiki.php %f

What would be cool is to have a place to publish these extensions, but
there are obvious overhead issues. I don't know how the Firefox
community manages it.
