I looked at your site.

Practically every CMS could do your content well, but I think phpWebsite might
be the best for you.

phpWebsite ( http://phpwebsite.appstate.edu/ ) was developed for community,
NGO, Non-Profit, edu, etc, etc, etc sites.

Do not be fooled by their release # - they have been around for a while.

The best way to figure it our is to install it and play.  you really should
have your own 'local' LAMP system for the playing around phase.

The default install will get you going significantly.  There are a bunch of
standard templates and designing your own is not that hard.  Look at
http:newsite.beginnerfarmers.org for a Q&D example.

Layout is simple - it works on a  matrix within matrix model.  There is ample
security, user edit ability, calender, blog, article, static page, schedule,
etc, etc, etc options.
