Hi all,

I use Quanta for php editing on both OpenBSD. Most
often, I will use one or two libraries, put classes, functions and
variables in there and require_once() those libraries in my scripts.

A typical library is about 1000 lines long, which delivers a filesize
of roughly 40Kb.

When opening or switching to a php file which is dependant on one or two
of these libraries, Quanta will 'hang' for up to 5 seconds. It
is probably busy loading all kinds of info from these libraries.

Can I make Quanta not do that? I've tried disabling all kinds of
options, most notably the auto completion feature, to no avail.

Hardware/software used 95% of the time: AMD Sempron 2400+, 768Mb RAM,
OpenBSD 3.8-stable, Quanta 3.4.2. The other 5% is spent on an AMD Athlon
XP 2000+, 768Mb RAM, OpenBSD 3.9-stable, Quanta 3.5.1. In both cases,
Quanta is tunneled through SSH with X forwarding on my 100Mbit LAN. Both
machines exhibit this behaviour.

My apologies if I've overlooked documentation. It might be that my
search of the list archives has not been extensive enough. Cluesticks and
RTFM much appreciated.

Thanks.... Nico
