Ok, this does not help. :-( We need more. et the latest valgrind (I 
think what's in SUSE 10 is enough) and run:
valgrind --tool=memcheck quanta

If crashes send me all the output in a compressed file. It will run very 
slow and will require lot of memory, but hopefully you can do it.
