thanks Andras, for super fast reply!
I see: when I remove the comment-tags vpl shows the page.
But I think the "[if lt IE 7]"-part *must* be commented out because it's not
standard. It's just a workaround for the IE-errors, other browsers shouldn't
care about those special styles and the MS-specific code to load them. The
"real" style is defined just above with
<style type="text/css"><!--
@import url("css/rosmarie.css");
--></style>
S, I don't care if Quanta ignores the commented-out IE-styles (I even *want*
Quanta to ignore them), but if this commented-out <!--[if lt IE 7]>-part is
in the source, why does vpl then ignore the whole html-file and not just the
comment part...?
Please correct me, if I just don't get it. But I don't even have IE on my PC
(can one, anyway?) and the page runs perfect in Mozilla, Firebird, Opera...,
but not in Quanta vpl.
Anyway: even when I remove it (and also remove the coment-tags in the "normal"
style-tag shown above) vpn shows the unstyled version, just like an old
netscape. I don't care too much about that, but is this as it should or am I
just doing something completely wrong?
