The problem is (if I understood correclty):

=2D search and search & replace are editor actions and provided by=20
whatever editor is used in Quanta (katepart by defaul)
=2D search and replace in files is provided by another application,=20
KFileReplace.

Duplicating them in Quanta is not the solution.
