FTR, I'm using KDE 3.5.0 binary packages for openSUSE 10.0 and Quanta+ 3.5 
still pops up the auth underneath.  I've ensured that there are no special 
window settings overriding this.  So, on my installation at least, it isn't 
quite fixed yet.

Also, that file changed outside editor (or similar) bug is driving me mad.  
Since I don't know how to use SVN, I can't get around this, can I?
