It looks like you're showing us all of the make.out, which will show a
lot of harmless warnings. KDE is known for it's bunches of warnings
during compilation of itself, or other apps. The key portion seems to
be:
In file included from ../../lib/compatibility/knewstuff/knewstuffsecure.h:23,
from newstuff.h:23,
from newstuff.cpp:26:
../../lib/compatibility/knewstuff/knewstuff.h:26:6: warning: "KDE_IS_VERSION"
is not defined
../../lib/compatibility/knewstuff/knewstuff.h:26:20: missing binary operator
before token "("
In file included from ../../lib/compatibility/knewstuff/knewstuffsecure.h:23,
from newstuff.h:23,
from newstuff.cpp:26:
../../lib/compatibility/knewstuff/knewstuff.h:163: warning: `visibility'
attribute does not apply to types
In file included from newstuff.h:23,
from newstuff.cpp:26:
../../lib/compatibility/knewstuff/knewstuffsecure.h:24:6: warning:
"KDE_IS_VERSION" is not defined
../../lib/compatibility/knewstuff/knewstuffsecure.h:24:20: missing binary
operator before token "("

../../lib/compatibility/knewstuff/knewstuffsecure.h:103: warning: `visibility'

make[3]: *** [newstuff.lo] Error 1
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2
When you upgraded your KDE, did you compile or install via Mandrake
RPM? If you compiled, it could still be looking at the old KDE
version.
