Great, that would make creating the doc package really straight forward.

I can't comment about kdevelop, but the quanta + kdevelop merge is a bit
in the future, while creating a doc package that will work with current
and older Quanta versions is easy, and will serve people right now.

As you can see, it is just a question of including the html files +
images, create an index, and installing to the right place.
Here you can see the package I created for the KDE doc primer, as an

After you finish, please post it at least to the kde-files.org site. An
announcement in the dot (as part of the "quickies") can be arranged as
well.
