I want to take this opportunity to greet you.

I want to install Quanta 3.4.2 in my Slackware 10.1, with kenerl 2.4.29,=20
however, I'd like to know how to upgrade/uninstall my current Quanta
3.3.2program. I had been reading how to uninstall programs, but, I
encountered a
problem: Quanta is not listed in:

/var/log/packages

so can't uninstall it.

I'd appreciate a lot your assistance.
