Not any less of an impediment, but I'll usually keep xCode or simpleText 
open too to paste, save, then open in Quanta.
If I worked on OS X more, I'd definitely go crazy. But I don't usually 
need to do much between the two. Even that still seems faster than 
Dreamweaver, or Zend. ;)

Yes. That would make many people happy, and piss off just as many. 
(linux users tend to divide that way ;)
I don't see it as far fetched though, they're already using gnu software 
to sell servers, why not make the many gui apps readily available too?

I think it'd be fun to try and port Quanta to Cocoa, but wouldn't know 
where to begin. Not to mention I've been too busy to even look at this 
list in well over a month. But, one can dream right?

Even a nice installer package like OpenOffice has done would be nice. It 
uses X11, but has a nice installer, allows copy/paste, and is very usable.
