Thanks Andras,

I did see a few messages concerning CVS versions but nothing about the kde-redhat RPMs.   I was trying to avoid installing the KDE  & qt devel packages.  I'll  buckle down and compile quanta.

Hello,

I've installed kdwebdev 3.4.0 from rpms provided by The KDE-RedHat
Project <http://kde-redhat.sourceforge.net/> on a RedHat 9.0 box.
Quanta plus starts just fine but soon dies with the following two
messages:

KCrash: Application 'quanta' crashing...
Unable to start Dr. Konqi

After a couple of hours on google I am still stumped. Any ideas?

Well, this was described many times, both on the user's list or in the
bug database:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102996

Shortly: compile from source. And notify the packager about the bug...

Andras

Thanks,
Don
