I remembered that maybe if your the RPM's were created using
--disable-debug, all debug info is disabled, even if you later enable
them.

I have no idea, but just to be sure please double-check if 3.4 uploads.
After that create a new (small) project with 3.1.4, try to upload with
that one. Now open the same project in 3.4 and try to upload.
If it doesn't work, or uploads to a different location, we will look
deeper into the project file.
