Create a project and in the process tell it to get the files from the server. 
Quanta manages this all under projects and this is the only wizard I can 
think of that we have in Quanta.

We don't have an ongoing synchronize download and we tend to use CVS for group 
synchronization. Projects do handle upload management of edited files. If you 
need ongoing synchronization for download there are programs that do that.
