Hi,
I'm running BGP test-cases documented by University Of New Hampshire. One of the \
test cases is related to the attribute ATOMIC_AGGREGATE. The test-case is :
The Router Under Test [RUT] is configured with " aggregate-address 192.0.0.0/8 " and \
the RUT receives overlapping routes like 192.0.0.0/8 and 192.1.0.0/16 from two \
different external BGP peers
Then, the expected result should be :
When RUT receives overlapping routes then it should either only install the \
aggregate i.e 192.0.0.0/8 or install the two component routes i.e \
192.0.0.0/8,192.1.0.0/16 .
But in my case the RUT installs the route to 192.1.0.0/16 but not 192.0.0.0/8 or the \
aggregate.
Moreover , the test-results published in
http://www.quagga.net/docs/unh/BGP_Report_Sun_10-06-04.pdf also reports the same.
Any clues to fix this issue and pointers to the issues uncovered in the document \
BGP_Report_Sun_10-06-04.pdf.
Thanks In Advance,
Chaitanya
