Hi,

I ran into a small problem with vtysh after upgrading Quagga from 0.99.9 to
0.99.16, vtysh stopped working.

The reason (among others) for the upgrade was that a long BGP path-attrib
triggered route flapping. However, after upgrading Quagga, vtysh doesnt work
anymore.

At first it was missing libcap.so.1 (I symlinked libcap.so.2 to compensate),
after that I ran into an error message stating "Command node 38 doesn't
exist, please check it"

Does anyone know what this is all about? Vtysh DID work and I used it with
various scripts.

some background on configs & stuff;
- config files are owned by quagga:quaggavty
- my regular user is a member of quaggavty group
- debian.conf and vtysh.conf are as they should

me@curry:~$ vtysh
Command node 38 doesn't exist, please check it

netstat says:

tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:2601 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 8060/zebra off
(0.00/0/0)
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:2605 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 8064/bgpd off
(0.00/0/0)

Any help is appreciated :) Should the daemons listen to the physical
interface with a real ip instead of 127.0.0.1 ?

br,
Antti
