Subject: [quagga-users 11449] RIPNG equivalent to RIP passive-interface

We Using quagga-0.99.12 and are working on implementing a RIPNG
configuration across a large number of gateways. We currently run
quagga RIP for IPv4 and use the "passive-interface default" config
command in ripd.conf.

RIPNG does not support the passive-interface default command in it's
config. Nor does it appear to support a wildcard, ie "passive-default
tun*" to stop ripng from sending updates into all the tun interfaces.

The only alternative I have found is to specify it individually for each
tun interface but there can be any number of then these gateways
depending on various configuration parms outside quagga. When using
RIP, we set passive-interface default and then set our eth1 interface to
no passive-interface which did the job.

Is there a way to get the equivalent behavior of passive-interface
default in RIPNG?

Thanks for any assistance
