It segfaults after you do exactly WHAT? CGI URL, logged in user info, his
.qmail-* contents, etc?

Did you try compiling it with -DDEBUG (if that is possible) and letting it
dump core (set the size of uname -c correctly, IIRC) and then use gdb to
examine the core file (finding out in which source line exactly the
segfault occured)?
