You need to tell qmail-smtpd to call qmail-scanner-queue.pl instead of
qmail-queue for all source IPs instead of just non-local (or
non-authenticated).
i.e.
/etc/tcpcontrol/smtp.rules needs
":allow,QMAILQUEUE="/usr/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl""
something like that...

standard Q-S does that. Simply add the domains you want archived to
"$archiveit='onedom|twodom';"
