Hi,

does anybody ever considered limitting the number of mails a user can send
in a specific amount of time? Now I do this by crossing through the smtp
logfiles every minute and counting the number of "rcpt to" for a ip addres
a,d using tcpserver to block this address if over the limit.
But this is not enoug any more: my bosses now want to give some users more,
but since we work with dhcp ...
So I need a way to retrieve the number of ways a user can send out of ldap
and let smtpd do the calculation. I thought using authenticated smtp would
help me but it doesn't seem to...
Anybody has any ideas?

Franky
