I wouldn't wish merit radius on anyone. Since I am a merit partner, I get
one license of their aaa server for free, and it requires a kill -9 and
restart every few days. I am also running their freeware server on 2
machines. It is the ugliest code I have ever seen.

I wrote a patch for Cistron radius that can be found on the unofficial
cistron patches page (http://www.miquels.cistron.nl/radius/patches/).
The patch was ported to be a module for freeradius, but freeradius isn't
ready for primetime yet.

I also wrote a module for proftpd to do ldap lookups, but I have only
given it out to 2 other people, but proftpd comes with a ldap module now.
I haven't tested it though.
