Amen. Please do. The ports tree, nice as it can be, harbors some 
packages of great crackaliciousness. That's one of them.

Alternatively, use pkgsrc on FreeBSD. This might sound like a 
crackalicious idea, but I know of people happily doing it, and pkgsrc 
has a much more reasonably packaged qmail.
