Several operators of various bots for the Chinese wiki is having problem logging in \
with their bots due to the blocks of wiki sites by the Chinese government. For \
browsing via a browser, they werea able to get around it by using a proxy, but that \
is not available as a setting for the bots.

So is it possible to do one of the following:
1.  Go to the https version of the wiki site address rather than http since that is \
not blocked. 2.  Add a proxy setting for the bot so it can get through.  I'm not sure \
whether this violates any security policy or GFDL requirements.
