Summary: uninstaller for bdist_wininst
Initial Comment:
Uninstaller for bdist_wininst. Has been described fairly extensively in \
http://mail.python.org/pipermail/distutils-sig/2001-February/001991.html.
This version differs from the posted beta-version in better error checking.
The patch is not complete: distutils/command/bdist_wininst.py has to be regenerated \
after the C-code has been compiled.
I'm requesting permission to check this in.

Sure. There's also probably going to be a beta2, so it
could be checked in for that release.

Andrew, I'm undecided what to do. I have some improvements to the uninstaller in \
mind, which should be done before. I have, however, not the time to do it this week.
Can we release a separate distutils version AFTER 2.1 beta 1?

You have permission from me, though I can't really comment
on the approach. No one else on python-dev seemed
interested in inspecting it, and you're the
Windows/Distutils installer expert, so go ahead.
