For the sake of completeness, I thought I should mention that I finally got
around to filing a bug report <https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-56435>
about the icon-related memory leak on the Qt website. It will be
interesting to see how long it takes them to fix it, assuming that they
don't consider it to be "in the hands of the OS/WM".
