PyQt4 is complete as far as Qt v4.0.x is concerned, so any segfaults are bugs. 
Always make sure you are using the latest SIP and PyQt4 snapshots. If you 
have ported an example but it doesn't work properly then just post the whole 
thing to me and I'll look at it.
