After further use and testing of various PyKDE components against PyKDE
3.8.0, I've finally managed to update some of the documentation which I'm
hoping can grow into a more comprehensive description of the component
framework. This can be found via the usual URL:

  http://www.boddie.org.uk/david/Projects/Python/KDE/

In particular, it may be interesting to start from the description of the
framework:

  http://www.boddie.org.uk/david/Projects/Python/KDE/Docs/pykdecomponents.html

Perhaps, over time, these documents will begin to cover more general aspects
of KDE development and feature tutorials on each type of component. Maybe
they would be better situated elsewhere, where they can be freely edited by
contributors.

For those adventurous enough to explore further, the raw format of the
documents is kept within the distribution (see the Download section on the
above site) in the KParts/EmbedWiki/Docs directory. The format used is
broadly similar to that used by the MoinMoin Wiki used at www.python.org,
although it is possibly different enough to be quite annoying for
experienced contributors to that site. ;-)

Comments on (and corrections to) both the collection of documents and the
component framework are most welcome. I'm particularly interested in hearing
whether the build system functions properly on various distributions.

Have fun,

David
