Yes Thijs, if your server is hosted in a place where you can manage the firewall. \
(*thinking of datacenter, or mutualized hosting*)

That would also be the case of use for me... I don't even want to show a login prompt \
for people from china or russia if you get my drift :) but I haven't looked in to \
this performance wise as how it might be better in every aspect to keep those kind of \
features at firewall level be it hardware or somehow using iptables.

I don't think having the feature would make it more 'bloated'.
