Tippecanoe County Public Library seeks a skilled manager to join our public library \
system and our commitment to achieving our \
vision<https://tcpl.lib.in.us/library-policies/vision-statement/> for over 190,000 \
area residents! We will hire a dedicated, service-oriented manager with a commitment \
to neighborhood library service. Supervise M.L.S. and support staff as you develop \
programs, services and collections at the Klondike branch library. The successful \
candidate will have seasoned practical problem-solving skills, the ability to make \
independent decisions and strong interpersonal, people and communications skills. \
Expertise in community engagement is highly desirable.
Minimum 2 years supervisory or management experience in a public library or any \
equivalent combination of training and experience is preferred. ALA accredited MLS \
required. This is a 40-hour position with occasional evenings and weekends required. \
Starting salary is $53,310.40/year. TCPL has an excellent benefits package.
Located in mid-central Indiana, Lafayette is the home of Purdue University, one hour \
