Hello Librarians!

If you have made significant changes to the accessibility of your library's website, \
either before or during the pandemic, we at IMLS-funded Project ENABLE (Expanding \
Non-discriminatory Access By Librarians Everywhere) would like to find out what you \
did and the outcomes for your patrons with disabilities. The next edition of our \
e-newsletter (PENews) is coming out soon and its theme is website accessibility. We \
want to showcase librarians who have made their library website more accessible and \
inclusive, especially during these trying times.

So, if YOU have made your website more accessible by applying various standards, \
principles and guidelines to it, please send me a brief paragraph (3-4 sentences) \
describing what changes you made and any impact they ahve had. We will select up to \
five descriptions to include in this issue but will consider others for future \
issues. Our newsletter is sent to thousands of librarians worldwide.

When completed, email your paragraph to me at drruth@syr.edu<mailto:drruth@syr.edu> \
no later than October 5, 2020 If you did not see the inaugural issue or PENews, just \
go to it at the Project ENABLE site's Resource database at \
https://projectenable.syr.edu/projectenable_resoruces/view/1148 and click on the link \
provided.

Thank you.
