Position:   LIBRARIAN I (Youth Services)
Salary:       $43,996 Annually
Location:   Glades Road Branch
                  20701 95th Ave. South,
                  Boca Raton, FL 33467

Coordinates, plans and develops children's services that include creative p=
rogramming, storytelling, reference, collection development and readers' ad=
visory services for babies, toddlers, school-age children, young adults and=
 parents.  Oversees the Teen Volunteer program; promotes the library to sch=
ools; conducts tours of the library and represents the library in the commu=
nity.

Qualifications:  Master's Degree in Library Science accredited by the Ameri=
can Library Association (ALA).  Preference given for experience in public l=
ibrary youth services; using eDevices and the internet (must specify on app=
lication).  Also desirable:  Knowledge of children's literature (must speci=
fy on application). Bilingual oral and written proficiency (English/Spanish=
 or English) strongly preferred.
