The Johnson County Library in Johnson County, Kansas  is looking for qualif=
ied applicants to fill the position of Technical Support Analyst at the Cen=
tral Resource Library in Overland Park, Kansas.   This position will be res=
ponsible for providing support and resolution for users with hardware, soft=
ware and applications problems.  Job functions include assisting with proje=
cts, identifying chronic problems and suggesting resolutions.
* Installs, configures, tests and operates a desktop and other peripheral e=
quipment; ensures proper installation of cables, desktop operating systems,=
 and/or appropriate software.
* Instructs users in the use of desktop equipment and software; identifies =
and communicates training needs.
* Troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software issues.
* Escalates issues to appropriate personnel for service, repair and trainin=
g.
Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant=
 experience in the information technology field are required. Current A+ Ce=
rtification.
MS Certification of Windows 7 and Office 2010/2013 are preferred.
Experience can substitute for education.  Education can substitute for expe=
rience.

Salary Range $19.63 - $26.54.  Johnson County provides an excellent benefit=
