We are fortunate to have an observatory with an 11" Celestron telescope on
our grounds. It belongs to RavenStar, an outdoor education organization.
With much assistance from a local astronomy club, we have had one Star Party
already which was wildly successful and attended by people of all ages. We
are planning quarterly Star Parties and hosting special events such as a
Scout night. I am curious if anyone is aware of other public libraries that
have an observatory.
