Youth Privacy Matters: Practical Approaches to Implementation
Monday, June 28, 8:30-10:00 a.m.
Rosen Centre, Salon 10

Youth privacy rights can be confusing, given the complex laws and
policies in effect at all levels of government. In this program,
panelists and audience members will discuss scenarios from public and
school library settings that best illustrate the practical dilemmas
librarians face in attempting to implement these regulations while
adhering to the ideals of intellectual freedom rights for youth.
Presented by the Joint AASL/ALSC/YALSA Intellectual Freedom Committees.
