Tacoma Public Library is recruiting for Branch / Department 
Supervisor 

Closes (EXTENDED): April 20, 2001
Pay Range: $41,204 - 50,273 annually plus benefits


This is supervisory work requiring extensive library knowledge and 
supervisory expertise. Supervisors coordinate and supervise 
professional, paraprofessional and clerical functions of a technical 
or public services division or unit of the Library. Work includes 
setting goals and objectives, scheduling, evaluation of work, and 
budget preparation. Supervisors also participate in all aspects of 
the technical, clerical and reference duties of the assigned location 
or unit. The work schedule will include some evening and weekend.
