Got it working.  Sheesh.  That's what pulling an all-nighter messing with it will do \
to you.

Turns out, I had named the database proftpd_admin and the user proftpadmin.  I kept \
putting the "d" in proftpd in the wrong places and compounding the problem.  I'm \
going to revise my naming strategy.  Wasn't a smart move on my part, just threw it in \
there too quick.

Anyway, got logged into my site for the first time via FTP.  Moving forward!
