Hi all,

I'm using ProFTPD version 1.3.1 on Ubuntu 8.04 Server 64 bit.

I'm facing a nasty problem when using the <Class ...> statement. I need it
to limit the access for certain users from only the intranet.

If I put the following lines in proftpd.conf:

<Class intranet>
>From 192.168.0.0/16
</Class>

then after the daemon restarts I get a Segmentation Fault when trying to
connect.

>From syslog:
[339314.648490] proftpd[23399]: segfault at 10 rip 7f2475606080 rsp
7fff38dbc778 error 4

If I put instead something like:

<Class intranet>
>From 192.168.0.0
</Class>

I don't get a Segmentation Fault, but the ACL is obviously wrong. Indeed I
need something like this:
<Class intranet>
>From 192.168.0.0/16
>From 10.0.0.0/8
>From 172.16.0.0/12
</Class>

In all cases if I run "proftpd -t" the syntax is correct.

Any idea?
TIA.
Cheers,
Luca
