You don't have to create real users in linux. Just give your ftpusers write access to \
the directories where uploads are allowed.

Give your ftpusers the same group id and then change the permissions on the upload \
directory to match the groupnumber.

This setup works for me

  Hi!

I'm using proFTPD with mysql on a RH8 server. But I have some problems using it.

The server loads as it should, but my users cannot create files.

Do I have to create users and groups in the integrated security on RH as well?

  /Jesper
