Summary: DNS Lookup Problem (Tor related)

Initial Comment:
Version: 3.0.6 (Stable)
Operating System: Debian
Browser: Firefox 2.0
URL: Any http, https, or ssl that does not end with .i2p
Firewall: None
Proxy: TOR, I2P, Freenet

My config file:
forward-socks4a / 127.0.0.1:9050 .
forward .i2p 127.0.0.1:4444
forward ksk@ 127.0.0.1:8888
forward ssk@ 127.0.0.1:8888
forward chk@ 127.0.0.1:8888
forward svk@ 127.0.0.1:8888
listen-address 127.0.0.1:8118

Note: I tried on the same computer, and on a remote one through SSH port forwarding. \
When I try to go to say http://www.google.com, it tries a DNS lookup and gets \
127.0.0.1. When I allow firefox to use SOCKS4 proxy 127.0.0.1:9050, websites work \
fine through TOR.

You write "it tries a DNS lookup and gets 127.0.0.1",
assuming "it" means Privoxy, did you actually see
DNS traffic, or was it just an assumption?

Do you get an error message? What does it say?
Does your Tor log show any problems?

Also note that your "forward foo@" lines probably
don't do what you might think they do, but for
the google.com example that should be irrelevant.
