i'm using privoxy since today, but i cannot e.g. log in to my gmail account - i still \
get the empty white screen with

in the upper left corner and nothing further happens.
When i turn privoxy off, clear the cache, it works...

can you help me please how to set it to work?

thanks.

GMail is probably going to be a moving target for a while.
No sense debugging which filter(s) are confusing it. It's
best to add mail.google.com to your fragile or -block list.

I had the same problem; I asked Google about it - their
answer wasn't very helpful, although I suppose it's not
really fair to expect them to understand Privoxy's
intricacies. Here's the correspondence:

Problem:
Firefox hangs with blank page after login. Status bar
says "Done." Firefox connects through the Privoxy
ad blocker (on localhost) for HTTP but not HTTPS
connections. The problem occurs with http:// addresses;
https:// seems to work, as does connecting directly to the
network bypassing the proxy.

I have been using <https://mail.google.com/> to bypass Privoxy and log in more \
securely, but I haven't taken the time to figure out what filters one needs to fix \
this problem. There are some redirects involved to make troubleshooting more \
complicated.

Has anyone out there figured this one out yet?
