Summary: I am required to run autoheader and autoconf
Initial Comment:
As I understand the autoconf tools, they are supposed to
be run by the developer before distributing the software.
With all other software I only have to say
./configure <Options>
make
make install
And no, the fact that I automatically execute autoconf
by typing "make" is not really helping. I need to run
configure with arguments and I want to compile on a
system build from scratch, where additional dependencies
hurt. Especially since autoconf itself has further
dependencies.
