Paul

Thanks for your continued responses, I nearly missed some of them as MS
thought they were junk !

The routing tab doesn't seem to put the routes in I require if I choose
the Client to LAN option. Alos this setting does not persist when the
GUI is closed down.

Some of the instructions seem difficult to implemnt - here is the way
of working I find easiest:

1. Use sudo to allow the non-privileged user to use the pptpconfig gui

2. Select the All to Tunnel routing option

My only issue now is that tunnels are not closing down cleanly.

I use a Watchguard Firebox X firewall as the PPTP server, which uses
Radius to authenticate with the MS IAS service.
If I use a Windows client for the PPTP and then disconnect, the tunnel
disappears from the Firebox Monitor.

My monitor currently shows 2 tunnels which my Linux client closed on
Friday, in addition to the one which is still going.

Is there anything I can do about this ?

Peter

Yes; you can configure this using the "Routing" tab in pptpconfig.

Paul.
